Senior Hedge Fund Operations Analyst recruitment
Our client, an international investment advisory firm dedicated to hedge funds, are expanding its team in Downtown Toronto. Keeping pace with new developments, this firm is actively recruiting for a Senior Hedge Fund Operations Analyst to evaluate hedge fund managers and its trading strategies as well as personnel and risk procedures and other key criteria.
To perform these analyses, the Senior Hedge Fund Operations Analyst will interview managers onsite to analyze, evaluate and monitor their mid and back office resources and processes. The incumbent will be reviewing offering documents and financial statements as well as conducting service provider checks. This research will culminate in the preparation of written reports detailing the analysts’ findings, and assigning explicit ratings. In addition, the selected candidate for this Senior Hedge Fund Operations Analyst position will stay abreast of ongoing developments with their managers and will contribute to the development of the company due diligence practices, supporting business developments and representing the company at internal and industry events.
Qualifications:

Specifically, the Senior Hedge Fund Operations Analyst is to have broad experience in a leadership / influential capacity in various facets of investment operations and familiarity with hedge fund investment strategies as well as various securities. This experience will ideally be supported by expertise with fund accounting and/or operations. Designation as a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, and/or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst is desired.
