Job Description About the Role: The Senior Hydrogeologist is expected to manage a range of small to medium-sized projects and/or field programs. It is intended that with the accumulation of experience and career development, the individual will steadily advance, assuming an increasing project and Business Group responsibility. Some Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the procurement, management and technical aspects of projects. Manage the work of staff, contractors and sub consultants allocated to specific projects to ensure that technical competence and performance, and health, safety and environmental standards meet requirements for allocated projects. Co-ordinate work programs to ensure projects and field programs are delivered on time and on budget. Proactively pursue variations where the scope of a project changes. Manage risks associated with project delivery. Liaise with clients to meet project expectations and outcomes. Assist the Team Leader to deliver the growth, diversification and stability targets set out in the business group budget. Maintain the quality of work by complying with OHS, QA and Corporate Standards Commit to continual professional development and learning on relevant technological, business and human relationship matters. Any other duties AECOM may reasonably require you to perform. The ideal candidate will possess: Tertiary Qualifications: BSc Geology or related Earth Science Post graduate qualifications in Hydrogeology (preferable). Membership of relevant professional institution. Minimum 5 years industry experience in designing, planning and executing hydrogeological investigations. Sound technical report writing, tender response and proposal preparation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with standard hydrogeological software packages. Well presented, with a professional attitude. Able to maintain confidentiality. Hands-on approach. Willingness and ability to develop and mentor junior staff.
