Senior I&C Engineer, power plant project
For our client, a global player in international plant construction, we are looking for a senior IC engineer for a longterm project in Saudi Arabia.
Project start: asap
Project duration: 12 months, extension possible
Place of work: On site, 100km south of Port Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Weekend trips to Bahrain are possible
Tasks:
- Supervision of site activities such as erection, installation, testing and commissioning in cooperation with site manager
- Equipment inspection
- Documentation checking
- Supervision of defined test procedures, start-up sequences, reliability test runs and performance tests
- Functional and operational tests of equipments
- Verification of compliance of test results
- Inspection reports, certificates, progress reports and site correspondance
- Participation at meetings
Required qualification:
- Masters´s or Bachelor´s degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering
- Min. 10 years of experience in power plant projects, at least 3 years in similar position
- Fluent English, German capabilites are nice to have
- Political tact and cultural empathy
