Senior In-House Legal Counsel, Banking & Finance, 6yrs+ recruitment
This global institution is seeking a lawyer to be the primary point of contact for it's Dublin businesses. You'll be advising senior personnel on a broad number of issues including:
trade and cross-border transactions, in particular lending transactions (syndicated loans, trade finance);
capital markets (debt equity), derivatives, structured finance, securitisation;
regulatory matters;
fund products.
You will also be working closely with individual business lines, managing external counsel and other relationships as well as liaising with head office.
As a candidate you will need to be a qualified lawyer (Irish or other common-law or European jurisdiction) with at least 5 years transactional, cross-border and regulatory experience. Knowledge of capital markets and structured products also required. Familiarity with US banking securities laws would be an advantage. Strong communication, drafting and negotiation skills are key.
