Senior Industrial Engineer

Summary

  • Develop strategic operating procedures that support NAD network-wide business objectives in Fulfillment, Transportation Delivery operations
  • Influence key business partners including Directors and Vice Presidents using critical analysis to gain support for initiatives and solutions that reflect meaningful process improvement
  • Evaluate new or improved operating methods, technology, equipment, facility design and layout
  • Participate in content expert teams, policy/training committees and other task forces

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Work with field IE’s and cross functional partners to evaluate major opportunities for process improvement through new or enhanced systems, tools, and methodologies
  • Be adept at researching data from various sources (WMS, TMS, Package Tracking, Roadnet, Labor Management, Slot Optimization, Kronos, Labor Management, etc) and translating into meaningful findings in support of firm action plans
  • Navigate within various business systems to identify configuration opportunities that will drive operational improvement
  • Identify and evaluate key performance indicators of process health and stability
  • Use findings to initiate process improvement that support business goals and objectives
  • Work with Fulfillment, transportation and delivery field management to identify opportunities, testing new processes and to execute new procedures
  • Analyze existing policies, procedures, and methods to ensure that methods are accurate and meet business objectives
  • Research trends, opportunities, risks, strengths, weaknesses, and alternatives for new services, equipment, new methods, or technology changes
  • Provide economic analysis and justification
