REQUIRED
- Prior experience building and managing Security Information and Event Managers (SIMs), preferably ArcSight.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting large corporate LAN/WAN networks including Firewalls/Switches/Routers, Databases, Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), WebProxys, and Domain Name Servers (DNS).
- Willing to work day/evening/nights shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to pass NERC CIP background check.
DESCRIPTION
- Support Security Operations Center in a 24x7 environment.
- Provide analysis, recognition and escalation of security events for remediation.
- Monitor security events in real time.
- Escalation of significant of business impacting cyber security events.
- Proactively research to identify emerging threats.
- Facilitate fast remediation for security incidents.
Note: This is first shift, Saturdays and Sundays 12 hours each day.
DESIRED
- Prior experience working in Security Operations Centers (SOCs); prior experience with SourceFire IDS and NetWitness;
- Knowledge of/experience with NERC CIP and/or SSAE 16 compliance.
