SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
Description
This key position within the Infrastructure Architecture group is responsible for providing direction and strategy in the development of global infrastructure architecture, with an emphasis on network and integration solutions. It encompasses working within the PMO (Program Management Office) life cycle process as well as the Infrastructure RFS (Request For Service) process to fully understand work requests and their infrastructure requirements and dependencies. Both internal and hosted solutions are included within the scope of this position. Additionally, this position provides infrastructure governance with respect to vendor developed solutions and also serves as a Client architecture SME (Subject Matter Expert) - reviewing and approving infrastructure solutions. This is a senior leadership role in the Infrastructure Architecture group, providing input and expertise in the development of global technology direction and infrastructure roadmap development.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 10+.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 10+ years in architecture design and solutioning with emphasis on network and integration. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of multi-tier architectures and interfaces. Strong background in business process definition and requirements building.

Key Responsibilities
1. Work with The Client and partners to define global network requirements and infrastructure solutions for projects and work requests.
2. Work with The Clients and partners to define global system integration and interface requirements for infrastructure solutions of projects and work requests.
3. Serve as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in infrastructure platform technologies - including Mainframe, AS/400, Unix, Linux, and Intel Platforms.
4. Work with application development project teams to understand and develop business requirements and evaluate application solutions as they relate to global infrastructure standards.
