As a distributor, the firm has selectively taken minority stakes in Boutique Fund Managers in order to distribute to retail and institutional channels. Wholly owned by one of Australia's most prominent institutions they operate independently under their own board/premises.
The role
Spear-heading their Institutional Sales efforts you will be responsible for managing Asset Consultant and Super Fund relationships. You will be required to work closely with the Boutiques and have an intricate understanding of their investment process, methodology and how to position the respective offerings with clients.
Key skills and attributes
- Asset Consultant/Super Fund relationships
- Proven Institutional Sales track record
- Experience dealing/co-ordinating with Investment Teams
- Strong technical knowledge across all asset classes
- Within Hedge Funds a good understanding of long/short, CTA's and other strategies would be an advantage
