Senior Institutional Sales – Korea Coverage – US Asset Manager- HK recruitment

The client are a recognised global fund manager, with offices in the US, Europe and Asia. As part of their plans to expand their sales team, they are seeking to add a sales person responsible for covering institutions across Korea. The main responsibilities of this role will include:

• Identifying and targeting potential new institutional investors throughout Korea

• Actively targeting new clients through meetings, events and road shows

• Building and developing existing client relationships through meetings to ensure continued investments

• Working closely alongside the Head of Asia to develop a consistent business strategy

• Advise on marketing materials, presentations, pitches, etc

The ideal candidate for this position will likely demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

• A proven track record in selling a range of alternative strategies to an institutional client base in Korea

• A thorough knowledge and understanding of a range of alternative funds, with a particular focus on fund of funds

• A pre-existing client base of institutional clients in Korea

• Experience of attending client meetings, consultant meetings and new business presentations
