Senior Institutional Sales – North Asia Coverage – $500bn Asset Manager – Hong Kong recruitment

The company have enjoyed phenomenal growth in the Asia Pacific region over the last few years and have identified the region as their main focus for the coming five years. As a result they are looking to increase their headcount with the addition of a business development manager with responsibility for developing the company’s institutional client base in North Asia, including Mainland China and Korea.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and targeting potential new institutional investors across Greater China, with a focus on Mainland China and Korea.

• Actively targeting new clients through events, meetings and roadshows

• Building and developing existing client relationships to ensure continued investments

• Promotion of full range of products including traditional and alternative funds

• Regular travel throughout North Asia

The ideal candidate for this position will likely demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

• At least five to seven years of sales experience, preferably at a leading investment manager

• A pre-existing network of institutional clients across North Asia, with a focus on Mainland China and Korea

• A proven track record of meeting with clients to develop new business
