My client a leading Consultancy is looking for an Interaction Designer to work on delivering successful projects for their client needs. You will deliver products / services supporting expert's user's day in, day out and work with pedigree in working on the most complex challenges designing and building the latest generation sites.
You will be skilled in a mixture of responsibilities and have a broad knowledge of User Experience (UE) Consultant - Interaction designer, who specialises in interaction design for applications. My client is seeking a candidate who has a broad knowledge of User Experience including Experience Strategy, User Research and Information Architecture, with a specialisation in and passion for market-leading Interaction Design.
As the Interaction Designer you will create vision journeys and concept work early on in a project or for new business development and perform formative user research and summative user experience testing and evaluation throughout the project and gather user requirements and create personas/pen portraits to describe archetypes and their scenarios of use and develop other conceptual models that describe users, contexts, behaviours and high level solutions, with elicit user and business goals and translate into product development strategies and solution requirements in mind.
The Interaction Designer you will have the knowledge of the user, the business and the technology to design the application and create wireframes that document the page-by-page or element-by-element interaction of the user with the application and create prototypes that allow the interaction to be evaluated and iterated with other team members, clients and end-users and document the interactions to the appropriate level for the project (annotated wireframes, working prototypes, functional specifications or storyboards).
You need to have a degree or post-graduate qualification in Interaction Design, HCI, Product design, Industrial Design or equivalent work experience and will have worked for a top-flight agency or have a consultancy background and have worked on application design; not just marketing or content-heavy web sites and be skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite and created, evolved and documented the process and methods for doing UE in a project or organisation.
