Senior Internal Audit Manager – London recruitment
The position is responsible for driving the Finance Audit opinion, managing a portfolio of audits and maintaining relationships within Finance.
The main responsibilities will include:
o Ensuring audits are properly resourced and down time is minimised;
o Manage the delivery of a portfolio of audits to time, quality and plan;
o Contribute to the Quarterly opinion;
o Carry out performance reviews and coach and develop staff;
o Provide on-going feedback on performance and develop career paths for top talent.
The ideal candidate will have:
o ACA/ACCA/CA/CIMA qualified or equivalent;
o Strong product knowledge and technical accounting experience;
o Significant people management and leadership skills;
o Relationship management experience within financial services;
o Previous experience working within an audit function, preferably at a Big4;
o Strong understanding of Basel II and Basel III.
