An international insurance company with a presence in the Lloyd's insurance market are currently recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their specialist internal audit function based in central London. This team has a global remit and the team have a huge level of exposure to the business in the UK and abroad. This role would suit a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individual driven by the prospect of bringing extensive changes to the way the company functions, both internally and externally.
As a Senior Internal Auditor you will assist in the development of the audit programmes gaining a broad insight into a range of various areas of the business. With a medium sized audit team you will be expected to work in tandem and more autonomously building up your own personal relationships with senior stakeholders across the business. Testing key controls and implementing audit actions will allow you to make a personal mark on this insurer and the way it operates.
Responsibilities will include:
-Tracking and monitoring observations
-Reviewing the systems.
-Reviewing operational programmes
This Senior Internal Audit position would suit a professionally qualified auditor with experience of externally or internally auditing in the insurance sector.
You will have strong communication skills and understanding of the basic principles of internal audit.
