Job Description : Demonstrates sufficient knowledge and ability to gather and analyze information to independently perform complex audits as assigned by the Director of Internal Audit, including identifying risks and controls as well as opportunities for improvement. Uses resources effectively and efficiently to perform assigned audits and other projects in accordance with departmental and industry standards (i.e. ISACA IT Audit and Assurance and IS Control Standards, IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, AICPA Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and Government Auditing Standards a.k.a. The Yellow Book). Organizes and expresses ideas effectively and professionally in written and oral communications to ensure mutual understanding based on the level of experience of the audience. Cultivates instrumental relationships and maintains informal networks to enhance approachability. Mentors and supervises IT audit work of others and if qualified CPA supervises non-IT audit work performed by Internal Auditor I and II. Builds cooperation between team members and others to create synergy in pursuing collective goals. Collaborates while maintaining independence and objectivity. Demonstrates commitment to quality and sets high standards of performance for oneself. Performs quality review and approval of the IT audit work of others. May perform quality review and approval of non-IT work of others if holder of CPA license. Exhibits self-awareness, including desire to achieve and appropriate level of dedication toward continuous improvement and development.
