We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor join the Crane Co. team, this role will be based at our Hitchin, Hertfordshire location of Crane Building Services Utilities division.
Crane Building Services Utilities business has achieved significant growth in revenues and profits during the past three years, both through organic growth and acquisitions. We serve three key market sectors - Building Services, Water, and Gas Utilities - through a range of market leading brands including Crane Fluid Systems, Hattersley, WASK and Viking Johnson.
The role of Senior Internal Auditor is primarily to perform reviews of financial processes, financial statement generation and presentation to determine that divisions are complying with Crane Co. policies and practices and accounting principles. A key aspect of the function is to undertake Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control testing to determine whether controls over key financial cycles are designed and operating effectively across all business units and locations.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an internationally based Internal Audit team where you will regularly undertake audit visits across Crane Co. business units within the UK and internationally, with regular business trips to Stamford, US. European language skills in particular German speaking would be a distinct advantage in this role.
We are seeking applicants who are degree educated in accounting or finance with either ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification, plus experience in accounting or internal audit environment.
