Senior Internal Auditor – Munich recruitment
My client, a well establish and market leading Fortune 500 company, have a great opportunity for an experienced auditor for a Lead Internal Audit position to be based in Munich, Germany.
The Senior Internal Auditor will perform both operational and financial audits across the EMEA region with a focus on driving change and adding value with pertinent recommendations and process improvements. Additional projects will add an extra element to this role, as the auditor will have the autonomy to work in areas they feel are a priority.
The ideal person will be focused, a natural leader, able to influence a situation and relate well with people at all levels. It is really important to communicate effectively as an auditor so you are able to identify and roll out process improvements.
Minimum Requirements :
* Bachelor's degree, preferable in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Information Systems.
* 5-8 years experience as an auditor including recent experience as a Senior Auditor;
* Experience must be directly related to internal audit, public accounting (Big Four experience a plus) or finance.
* CIA, or CISA or Masters Degree is a plus.
* Flexibility and the ability to travel for approx 50% across the EMEA region.
* Strong human relations, analytical skills, fluent oral and written communications in English and German are expected.
