Senior Investment Accountant recruitment
**Please note we have 2 openings for Senior Investment Accountant. One is for our investment group (Columbia Capital) and the other for The Hartwell Foundation (see below). Individuals will work out of the SASCO main headquarters location in Fullerton and requirements are the same for both positions.

Job Duties:
Supporting and reporting to the CFO, the position will include the following job duties:
- Provide support and prepare reports for the financial accounting of investment activities. This includes tax basis P and L's and balance sheets for individual investors and groups.
- Preparation and maintenance of required reconciliations, schedules and journal entries in support of financial statement assertions.
- Direct all efforts to be consistent with corporate philosophy. Ask a lot..
- Think outside of the box to develop new / revised measurement tools.
- Persistent questioning and analysis of business systems and operations.
- Timely communicate business issues and solutions. Know what is going on.
Requirements:
- Awareness of income tax requirements for individuals, trusts, foundations and corporations.
- B.S. in Business Administration, with emphasis in accounting and/or finance.
- Minimum 8 years of overall financial and managerial accounting experience for a large company (revenues $100 million plus), investment accounting experience highly preferred.
- Must be self-motivated and work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify issues and solutions, and ensure timely project completion with minimal supervision.
- High proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word and Quickbooks. FundCount experience a plus.
- Proven capacity to perform as a top 10%-er (“A" player) and demonstrate a positive attitude as a team player.
