Senior Investment Accountant recruitment
My client a leading company in the insurance and reinsurance market with a global client base with risk and management solutions is looking to hire an Investment Accountant.
This role exists as part of a small team who deal with investment related issues and accounts. The main focus of the role is on the outputs of the investment accounting team which consist of group investment return and financial assets notes, as well as monthly UK commentaries for investment results. The role will additionally allow you to contribute to the analytical review of the UK results whilst preparing quarterly and monthly Lloyds Syndicate accounting. Providing high level analysis including variance analysis will be a pivotal part of this role.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent), from an accounting background an appreciation for syndicate accounting. Strong financial reporting standards are a necessity in particular IAS32 and IFRS 9.
