Our opportunity
Senior Investment Accounting Specialist within the Investment Administration and Accounting CoE Europe department – in this challenging role you will be responsible to deliver the monthly investment results in good quality and in a timely manner for several RUs.
Your role
As the Senior Investment Accounting Specialist you will run the monthly hard close process including quality assurance and deliver figures according to the locally agreed time-schedule and SLA. You will ensure compliance of sub-ledger with local and group requirements including such as accounting guidelines, chart of accounts, regulatory reporting, IFRS disclosure reporting. Further you will support the local accountants and controllers regarding reporting, valuations, portfolio analysis and investment income planning. As an investment accounting expert you will support various projects. Your role includes as well running smooth client relationships and fulfil their specific requirements.
Your Skills and Experience
As the Senior Investment Accounting Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or equivalent
- Several years of experience in banking or insurance operations and in project management
- Experienced in accounting processes including supportive IT processes
- Good knowledge of traditional and non traditional financial instruments and markets
- Sound analytical skills to streamline the IT platform and permanently improve the situation regarding automation potential
- Effective communicator with a pronounced focus on customer, quality and time
- Highly reliable, committed and credible character with accurate, independent and efficient working methods
- Business Warehouse and reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel as well as good command of SAP
- Fluent written and spoken English and German skills
