Senior Investment Analyst – Cape Town recruitment
High calibre graduate with superior academics and a relevant professional qualification (chartered accountant and/or CFA) sought by this progressive and rapidly expanding global asset manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing detailed analysis, accounting and business valuations of listed and unlisted securities, focussing mainly on listed investment, with a view to making long term investment decisions in line with the firm’s investment strategy. The role will involve ensuring adequate due diligence is conducted before investment, and using proprietary methodologies to include ration analysis, detailed financial analysis and economic/risk analysis.
This is a key, high profile role and applicants will have significant investment/equity analysis experience gained from an asset management or similar financial services environment, the ability to employ both qualitative and quantitative analytical skills will be complemented by the proven ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior management both internally and externally.
