As a (Senior) Investment Analyst Investment Grade Credits you will:
• have exposure to ING IM portfolio managers and analysts;

Your main responsibilities
• To provide top-quality bottom-up company modelling, analysis and forecasts in order to determine the appropriate relative valuation for issuers in the sector
• To generate value-adding investment ideas and recommendations on issuers and debt instruments
• To ensure that the research process is consistently applied across all securities under coverage
• To develop and maintain strong relationships with the senior management of companies under coverage and within the organization, other teams covering the same industries
Your experience and skills
• Significant experience (at least 5 years for a senior role or at least 3 years buy-side experience for a medior role) in conducting fundamental fixed income credit research, preferably with basic industry and capital goods sector knowledge and experience
• Ability to identify relevant macroeconomic, sector- and company-specific developments and to
translate these into bond investment recommendations
• Deep understanding of accounting and valuation methodologies of debt instruments
• Relevant Master degree, preferably combined with a CFA designation or other relevant
professional qualification
• Fluency, written and verbal, in English

The Investments department of ING Investment Management Europe manages a broad range of investments funds and mandates invested in equity and/or fixed income instruments. The vacancy is within the European Investment Grade Credit team, which is responsible for managing ING Investment Management’s Investment Grade Credit strategies. As a (Senior) Investment Analyst, making own forecasts to derive issuer ratings and appropriate relative valuations will be your primary focus, with the aim of making value added investment recommendations on fixed income securities.
Performance measurement of recommendations and individual accountability are key components of your job. The European Investment Grade Credit team is currently looking for an experienced analyst with proven industry knowledge.
