Senior Investment Analyst – Leading Hedge Fund recruitment
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying potential investment opportunities for one of the firm’s leading Portfolio Managers with a geographical focus on European Long Short Equities and also Emerging Markets.
Responsibilities include:
- Coverage of a portfolio of stocks to generate investment recommendations
- Development of long/short investment decisions based on fundamental analysis
- Managing relationships with investors and other counterparties
- Contributing to determining overarching investment strategy on a global scale
The ideal candidate will currently be either a Senior Analyst or 'Number Two' at a leading Long/Short fund. Experience within both developed and emerging markets is essential paired with a fundemental analytical investing approach. If you feel you match the below criteria, please apply;
- Senior analyst within a leading Hedge Fund
- 5 years of relevant experience within equities investing
- Experience investing in both developed and emerging markets with potential exposure to special situations and distressed investing giving an 'all round' investment exposure
- Broad industry knowledge with extensive exposure to large scale transactions
- Fluency in foreign languages is highly desirable
- Outstanding academic background
