Senior / Investment Analyst (Oil & Gas) recruitment
Pacific Eagle Asset Management is an asset management firm providing fund management services to an UHNW family office in Asia. The company manages substantial financial assets and invests globally across a wide range of asset classes. To support our global investment activities, we have offices in Switzerland, Hong Kong and Singapore. We are inviting an experienced, highly committed and qualified professional to fill the following position:
Investment Analyst / Senior Investment Analyst
You will be responsible for conducting investment research / analysis, focusing on the oil gas sector, to support our portfolio investments globally. The position will be based in either Hong Kong or Singapore.
Requirements :-
- Good Bachelors degree in Petroleum / Chemical Engineering from a recognized university; CFA or MBA highly regarded
- At least 3 years of experience in analysing U.S. / Canadian EP companies as part of candidate’s primary research coverage with financial institutions, fund management firms, or similar companies; experience across oil gas value chain (incl. midstream and downstream) advantageous
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with relevant experience in conducting sector analysis, valuation and issuing investment recommendations for individual stocks
- Excellent financial modelling skills; knowledge of petroleum economic evaluation software useful (e.g. Merak Peep, Power Tools, Value Navigator, etc)
- Independent, details oriented with good communication and presentation skills, and comfortable dealing with clients, fund managers and bankers.
The company has a performance-oriented culture. You will be exposed to various asset classes and, together with the team, be responsible for the performance of the oil gas portfolio. You will have opportunities to cover other sectors as we expand our investment coverage.
