Senior Investment Analyst recruitment

The Portfolio department is a global team that is located in Singapore, Europe and the USA. I am looking for a Senior Control Analyst in Singapore to provide support to the Investment Group across the globe.

This position will provide a diverse range of support that includes trade implementation, client/research portfolio construction and monitoring, ensuing portfolio compliance and operational support. This senior role requires the associate to provide leadership to the local team, engage and manage relationships with the Investment Group as well as other departments from and end to end perspective.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for implementing portfolio manager's convictions to client portfolios across various mandates.
• Working with Trading on trade orders.
• Ensuring compliance with clients' investment guidelines, internal investment policies and market regulations.
• Work with Legal on transactions, complex instruments and consult on portfolio compliance.
• Coordinate with Investment Operations and other departments on day to day operational issues such as trade settlements, client activity and transitions, cash management and local market access/practice.
• Manage and implement the transition management process for manager change in client portfolios.
• Provide support to Marketing as it relates to client queries on portfolio issues.
• Manages and coordinates the workflow of the team.

Pre-requisites:
• Minimum of 7 years in investment management business or worked for a financial institution in a support and control function to the investment team.
• Some people management experience will be an advantage.
• Highly numerate and good understanding of financial markets and instruments, participation in the CFA program is a plus.
• Versatile and flexible, with a proven ability to adapt and learn in an evolving environment.
• Influences, navigates and manages situations and/or people.
• Accomplished team player and leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with an eye for detail.
• Integrity, broad perspectives and ability to leverage experiences are vital attributes.
