Senior Investment Manager, Debt recruitment
This company is one of the fastest growing fund management companies in the UK, mainly focusing on niche areas but now starting to diversify into more mainstream product areas.
This role will suit an ambitious individual who wants to work for a fun, dynamic and performance-driven culture.
They are now looking to hire an experienced Investment Manager in to the team to concentrate predominantly on Debt related investments.
The current portfolio (AUM £700m) is currently invested across dozens of underlying companies in 5 broad sectors: mezzanine financing, media financing, ticketing, renewable energy and general corporate funding.
Main responsibilities will include:
Source investments opportunities.
Manage due diligence, negotiation and completion of investment opportunities.
Establish and maintain investment reporting.
Ongoing management and operational involvement in completed investments.
Establish and maintain investment controls for investments.
Develop and maintain strong network of external relationships to generate deal flow.
Skills and experience required:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of originating, structuring and executing debt investments.
Investment/Credit Committee experience from a bank or fund manager is preferred
Experience of the Renewables Energy sectoros would be a major advantage.
Exceptional academic and technical background ideally with experience restructuring transactions.
Team management experience is desirable but not essential.
A strong team player with the confidence to implement change and liaise with external counterparties at all levels of seniority.
