Position Description:A tremendous opportunity in a growing business for a talented strategic thinker and content creator with experience in marketing investment product solutions to institutional clients or financial advisors to join J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Retirement marketing organization.
The marketing group is organized by alignment with its respective Sales/Distribution Channels.
As such, this position forms part of a marketing team aligned with the Defined Contribution Investment Solutions (DCIS) Institutional and Intermediary distribution channels.
The Marketing Manager's principle role is to develop, manage and execute high-impact marketing programs and client/prospect content strategies for our institutional plan sponsor and intermediary sales distribution channels on a timely basis.
The Marketing Manager will conceive, develop and implement project plans, by engaging product experts and appropriate specialized marketing resources to design, shape and deliver marketing programs.
To carry out these duties, the Marketing Manager will gain exposure to the broader Retirement business and other senior executives, portfolio managers, product strategists and distribution teams.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Support the DCIS Marketing Director, and where appropriate, lead program development and execution (product and thematic campaigns, contact and drive-to-web/digital strategy, as well as events and road shows).Develop and maintain relationships with product/investment groups (portfolio managers/client portfolio managers) and the marketing product strategy group.Develop and implement best practice approach to program management and execution: Expansion and refinement of marketing campaigns and programsTracking, benchmarkingInternal communicationSales team follow-up and follow-throughProject management, budgeting, design, including editorial supervision and coordination, and schedule management.Integral to positioning, development and execution of road shows, webcasts and conferences.Where appropriate, responsible for taking lead on content development and input on editorial and design-oriented projects (including providing design/graphic direction).Contribute to (and where appropriate, take lead on) conception, development and maintenance of marketing collateral (internal/external sales tools) and related content to support sales initiatives and marketing campaigns.Engage appropriate marketing shared service groups (Writing, Digital, Design, Technology, Product Strategy, Insights and Events Teams) for expertise/support to execute on initiatives.Coordinate and manage required legal and compliance approvals of all marketing and communications materials using Asset Management's. activity/event/campaign/compliance management system (Aprimo).

Qualifications
Ability to think conceptually and strategically with a strong focus on tactical execution.Solid knowledge and understanding of single and multi-asset class investment products (mutual funds, commingled funds, separate accounts).Prior experience within Asset Management/Private Banking/Investment-related marketing preferred - Defined Contribution-specific experience not required but demonstrated product-related or product marketing background is required.)Experience in managing digital campaigns, including benchmarking/tracking/reporting metrics)Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - ability to interact with senior business executives.Excellent project management, problem-solving and relationship management skillsPays highest attention to detail.Independent, personable, pro-active learnerMust be a team player, able to work in a matrix organization structureFacility/proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word a mustMotivated self-starter, with an ability to work independently and perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Qualifications:BA/BS degree requiredA minimum of
5-7 years marketing experience, preferably in a financial services environment (institutional or retail asset management, private banking, etc)
