Senior IT Desktop Architect
Position Description:
This person will be responsible for the review and architecture of emerging/innovative technologies for end user computing. This person will be responsible for maintaining Windows OS image as well as evaluating new technologies for usefulness within the business. In addition, this person will be responsible for architecting new enterprise wide solutions. Involvement with these initiatives will include high level desktop issue resolution. This person will also be responsible for aspects of project management as part of their day-to-day responsibilities. They will be expected to understand desktop solutions holistically and be able to work cross-functionally to lead desktop solution initiatives.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of Windows desktop engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience with desktop/server virtualization technologies
- 3+ years of experience with software and/or infrastructure architecture
- 3+ years of project management or coordination experience
- High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree required
Assets:
- Experience with Altiris or enterprise system management solutions
- Experience with MS Deployment Tools
- Experience with Windows Vista or Windows 7
- Healthcare Experience
- Experience with large enterprise environments
