A global, successful and forward thinking Asset Management firm in the city is expanding it’s Infrastructure Support team and requires a 3rd Line Server Support Engineer to do so. The successful Infrastructure Support Engineer will have proven 2nd and 3rd Line Server support experience, strong customer service and leadership skills and will be an excellent team player.
Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer - key responsibilities:
- Service Availability, ensure IT Systems and Services are available and adhere to standards
- Active Directory management, design and strategy
- Authentication and Identity management systems and tools
- Maintenance and provision of server infrastructure, including co-ordination of installations
- System Documentation, to produce precise documentation on systems and processes
- Supplier Management
Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer - essential requirements:
- Significant experience of Windows Server Platforms, Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
- Hardware technical skills, including server clusters, blade servers and SAN technologies
- Knowledge of Networking and DNS
- Proven technical, problem solving and customer service skills
The following would be desirable: Blackberry (BES), MS Lync, SQL Server, SharePoint, VMWare.
