Job Description

IT team's role is to ensure key systems for communications, records and automation toolsare healthy, online and in line with the business growth.

The Senior IT Manager will do the following:

• Provide leadership, vision, and management to IT department

• Be in charge of the overall technology infrastructure Business Application Development for the firm.

• Participate in Senior management meetings and translate/execute business needs into

• Oversee revisions to the IT strategic plan semi-annually

• Hold regular departmental meetings to review goals and initiatives, promoting team building and growth opportunities for staff

• Provide day-to-day supervision and conduct performance appraisals

• Manage or maintain integrity of IT projects or enhancement to existing tools, systems, etc.

• Manage Teams (Helpdesk/Infrastructure Business App Dev)

• Manage planning and implementation of IT projects within scope, budget, and timeframe to support company

• Refine policies and procedures for department

• Meet with managers to discuss requirements, specifications and timelines

• Control budgets for department and for project

• Ensure accessibility of current hardware and software, including familiarity with all hardware and software and network operating system

• Ensure successful DR and backup during drills and real life scenarios

• Train staff on uses of technology

• Maintain a log of all issues, repairs and maintenance

• Make recommendations for the purchase of new hardware/software

• Monitor security access levels and audit information flows

• Regular reporting directly to the CEO and committees

Candidate Profile

• Solid IT experience (10 Years Minimum) - both hands on technical expertise andgood business understanding in Financial Technology Domain.

• Should have minimum 3-5 years of work experience in similar Asset Management firm.

• Should have worked withboth Small-Mid Size firms to larger Institutions.

• Having the right mix of infrastructureskills on Microsoft Platform and software development, Project Management skills.

• Should have excellent communicationskills to be able to handle internal teams and external vendors, third parties, serviceproviders. (see “Communication” section below for more details)

• Strategic thinking in order to align IT objectives to help the firm’s Business goals.

• Should be agile and adaptive to growing and dynamic business needs with strong relational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good documentation skills.

• Should be able to understand the business very well in order to help the firm use technology as competitive advantage.

• Ability to deal with stressful situations as the work requires.

• Knowledge of telephony, email and internet programs, network systems, network administration and network installation, troubleshooting, and hardware/software programs and systems.

Communication

Should have excellentwritten and verbal communication skills to be able to handle internal teams from Junior to Seniorstaff members, Executive Management and CEO/Board of Directors. Strong interpersonal skills with external vendors, third parties, and service providersare required.
