Senior IT Risk Analyst recruitment

The purpose of the role is to monitor and manage IT and Project risk across the Retail Division in conjunction with the Risk Manager and Retail Risk Director.

The key requirements of the role are to;

• Perform IT risk reviews across the Retail division to identify and mitigate key risks. Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders

• Define and quantify risk across IT and Projects

• Develop IT risk review plans and scopes to ensure key COBIT objectives are incorporated

• Produce detailed monthly risk reports for senior directors within the Retail division in relation to risks identified with recommendations

• Liaise with external auditors to manage annual reviews across the Retail Division, including reviewing findings and tracking actions

• Oversight on key projects to ensure risks are identified, addressed and mitigated

• Minimise losses emanating from control weaknesses across the business

• Assist in the implementation of the risk management framework across the Retail division including review of risk assessments, risk appetite and departmental risk registers

Additional responsibilities will involve reviewing and maintaining oversight of the annual business/IT DR test for Retail and advise departments on implementation procedures and key controls. Knowledge of Oracle Query Builder is important.

The ideal individual will have a good knowledge of IT Audit and will have a CISA qualification or knowledge of COBIT. Experience of working with Oracle is important as is strong project management skills. Other competencies required involve a high level of IT skills and at least two years audit experience in a financial services environment. Banking background preferred as is education to degree level.
