Our client is a leading global financial institution. This role is situated in the highly successful area of this top Investment Bank. The role will be Technical as well as having a big focus on Project Management within the area of HFT of Prime Services
Responsibilities of the role:
- Hands-on Java Development (core Java) using JDBC/SQL and Spring Framework.
- Application development dealing with Large Scale Distributed Systems.
- Quality Assurance for the Electronic Trading Real-Time Risk Platform
- Business analysis including working with business users to document requirements, write project plans and communicate project status to management.
- Hands on experience on coding, troubleshooting and application performance tuning.
Requirements of the role:
- 5-7 Years’ experience in Java Development using JDBC
- SQL, PL/SQL and XML are required
- Experience with Oracle 10g is beneficial
- Business Knowledge
- Experience in the Securities Industry, Market Risk, Electronic Trading Risk and electronic trading are a strong plus. Understanding of Prime Brokerage, Swap Trading and Equity / Equity Options is a strong plus.
