This top investment bank is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the highly regarded Front Office FX team. The developer will work very closely with a small IT team to both support the existing application and to drive new developments. The FX business has been very successful over the last several years and the technology platform has been a major part of this success. The development team is in charge for implementing high performance, real-time low latency and high throughput electronic FX trading systems.
The Senior Java Developer needs to be a product specialist for the FX business, especially in the user interface as they will be part of the development and enhancements of business critical technical components. Responsibilities will cover all areas of the development life cycle plus technical design work and support.
Senior Java Developer will need to have the following essential skills:
- FX Experience
- Expert Java skills: J2SE and design patterns
- Strong experience in development and performance tuning
- Real-time, Low latency and multithreading exposure
- Agile methodology experience
- C# experience
- MUREX exposure is a major plus
