I am recruiting for a Tier 1 Investment Bank located in South China who are seeking a Senior JAVA Developer to join their Global cross asset IT team.
The successful Senior Java Developer will provide high end solutions covering Valuation Services for front office Structured Derivatives and Market Risk. Designing the architecture for a high performance trading system covering upstream trading systems such as Sophis, Summit and Calypso.
The majority of the products are developed in JAVA however some occurrences of C# and C++ also exist; therefore some knowledge in these languages would be Ideal.
As a senior member of the team the successful candidate would be required to work closely with the team in mentoring junior members, coding, designing testing and implementation to solutions. The senior JAVA developer will need to at times provide 3rd line support for the production system
Skills Required: Excellent experience with Core JAVA serverside components making use of multi-threading and Spring framework. This includes; webservices, XML, API’s, JUnit and any Agile or XP development techniques. It would be beneficial to your application should you have any of the following skills; Grid Computing, Coherence, GigaSpaces, Terracotta, SQL and Sybase or Oracle databases.
The successful Senior JAVA developer must speak excellent English with Cantonese or Mandarin language skills as interaction on a global scale is necessary, communication with other offices, clients and users on a daily basis.
