Senior Java Developer, Front Office, Fixed Income, Rates, Londo
A Senior Java Developer is required to work for this highly regarded Front Office team within a top tier Investment Bank. The Fixed Income Rates Technology develops real-time pricing and risk software, which electronic trading systems and risk related trade capture work flow. The Senior Java Developer will be part of a team that utilises cutting edge technologies to develop technology platforms majorly comprised of in-house propriety applications that support the Fixed Income Rates business globally.
The role is to work as a Senior Java Developer in a front office facing IT team that are working on a highly complex platform and to learn the Rates business inside out. The Senior Java Developer will require Java, XML and Oracle SQL skills that will involve communications with a global team.
The Senior Java Developer will have to have the following skills:
- Strong java background - Core Java
- Good exposure and experience with SQL
- Strong Excel
- Previous/Current experience with version control systems
- IT Degree
