My client is a global systematic Hedge fund who is looking to hire a Senior Java Developer within there Front Office Trading Team. The organisation specialise in FX trading and are consistently outperforming the market in short term trading. The organization uses algorithmic trading models in the world’s biggest market – the average daily volumes in foreign exchange are well in excess of $3 trillion – to execute their strategies. The organisation are a major player since inception and are extremely passionate about finding an edge in the microstructure of the currency markets. The Senior Java developer will be heading up a number of projects and initiatives and will be given the opportunity to lead a small group of junior developers. This is a broad role encompassing a complex front end trading application, performance improvement, market connectors, and analysis tools. You will be involved with Automated Trading and Risk systems, with a focus on low latency and high throughput models. The systems are concurrent, real time and require excellent multithreading and heavy messaging knowledge. You will work with the latest technology and will interact with traders on a daily basis.

.Develop cutting edge trading systems and tools in Java
.Liaise directly with the traders and quants on the Algo Trading desk to generate accurate specifications
.Report directly to the Head Trader on current projects
