Senior Java Developer – Global Investment Bank – Chicago
The front office team of a large US investment bank is currently seeking an experienced Core Java developer to join an elite futures team which is responsible for the development of a message based application system for exchange and client connectivity. You will develop original trading algorithms as well as improve and optimize the existing trading system. This is an unprecedented opportunity to combine development expertise with front office and business exposure. The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic record with at least 5 years of Java experience. A knowledge of multi-threading, garbage collection, object pooling, and low-latency oriented development are all pre-requisites for the position. Additionally, FIX experience, familiarity with UNIX, and some business knowledge of equities are also required for this position.
