Senior Java Developer- Hedge Fund- London- Contract- £650-750 pd recruitment
Senior Java Developer urgently required by my client, a well renowned Hedge Fund based in London. My client is a highly successful investment management company which has experienced huge growth since it was founded in 2006. As such, a Senior Java Developer is required to develop, support and maintain the software to enable the financial systems of the organisation.
The Senior Java Developer will play a pivotal role within the organisation, liaising with Investment Management professionals across the business, as such must possess the following:
• Demonstrable track record of success as a Java Developer
• Extensive skills in Java development
• Knowledge of Webservices
• Significant experience in financial software engineering
• Strong understanding of the SDLC
• Excellent communication presentation skills
• Experience in a Hedge Fund/ Investment Banking essential
This is an excellent opportunity for a career- motivated senior Java Developer to join a highly successful Hedge Fund, with trading assets of approx. £5.4 bn last year. The Senior Java Developer will act as the SME for Java Development and articulate ideas across the business to technical and non- technical audiences.
As such it must be stressed that only those holding strong experience in Java Development, experience working within a Hedge Fund (ideally) or Investment Banking and excellent communication presentation skills will be considered for this position. This is a permanent role based in West London.
