Senior Java Developer, Hedgefund, London
A Senior Java Developer required to work for this top Commodities Trading House based in London City. They are well renowned within the Commodities market and are demand for someone within their Power Gas team. The Senior Java Developer will be working directly with the Front Office where they will be working with the architecture team to agree implementation approach, design and tools. As part of their role they will be managing the full application lifecycle including production releases and associate support, as well as delivering quality applications that meet user requirements. The Senior Java Developer has to have the hunger to be a leader and be very ambitious in terms of learning new technologies and working closely with the business.
The Senior Java Developer has to have the following skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Maths or Physics
- Java - primarily on the server side but will be some UI work also - 7+ years' experience
- Core Java
- Strong Multithreading
- Algorithms and data structures knowledge
- SQL
- SOA
- Commodities background is highly desirable but Front Office banking experience is compulsory (5+ years)
This Senior Java Developer role is in London and paying up to £150k OTE for the right candidate. This role is also considering graduates with an excellent academic record.
