Senior Java Developer (Low-Latency, Equities, £80k, London)
A leading Investment Bank is seeking an experienced Java Developer to work within the Equities Exchange Connectivity team. You will be part of a team of Front Office Java Developers that improves and maintains the low latency connectivity platform for all Equities trades around Europe, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and liaising directly with the Traders and Quants.
To succeed in this role you must demonstrate the following, as a minimum -
- Previous experience developing a Core Java based, low-latency, high frequency messaging or trading platform, that is able to execute a trade or message-send in less than 1ms.
- Experience working with popular messaging and middleware frameworks, such as Tibco or Solace.
- Experience working within a Front Office, Investment Banking environment.
- Experience working with Linux.
- Excellent Communication skills
In addition to this, any specific knowledge in Equities, or Cash Equities in particular, would be hugely beneficial.
Location - London
Salary - £65k - £80k
