We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
Knowledge and Skills:
- At least 6 years of experience in java/j2ee development
- In depth knowledge of Java, the Spring framework
- In depth knowledge of Hibernate
- In depth knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier internet applications
- Good knowledge of relational databases (preferably Oracle)
- Good knowledge of software development methodologies (preferably RUP)
- Good knowledge of modelling tools (e.g. UML)
- Good knowledge of HTML/XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
- Ability to work in team.
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment and experience in team working.
- Knowledge of the existing IT Security frameworks for the development and maintenance of applications
Additional skills:
- Knowledge of: Eclipse, Tomcat application server, Unix, web security.
- Good knowledge of a project management methodology (preferably PM2)
Language requirements:
- Fluent in English
- French would be considered an asset
The position is offered as a freelance contract with an initial duration of 6- 12 months (contract renewable).
