Senior Java Developer ( VP to ED Level ) with Electronic Trading Experience recruitment
The ideal senior Java developer should come with extensive experience developing high-frequency, low-latency electronic trading platforms. This is technically challenging role that requires the Java technologist to work on a brand new high performance system. Our client is placing a lot of focus on this platform and the successful Java technologist will be given the task to come up with new methods to optimize and enhance the performance of the system.
The successful Java candidate will be working with Scala, a sophisticated functional programming language and various new technology.
This is a highly important front office role that requires the Java technologist to work hand-in-hand with traders and is an important hire for the bank.?
Essential Skills:
- Excellent Core Java
- Experience with FIX Protocol
- Prior experience working on electronic trading platforms, high performance and low latency trading systems
- Multithreaded programming expertise
- A degree/ post graduate degree in Computer Science/ equivalent
