Description
DemandTec is searching for a dynamic Software Engineer to join our top-notch development team. If you are that person, you'll help us continue to improve and innovate our Software as a Service (SAAS) applications.
The Software Engineer owns and implements items at the feature level. S/he works closely with architects, Product Management, and other engineers to design and implement new features and new core capabilities in DemandTec's application suite.
Required Skill Set:
- 3 - 10 years designing, building, and maintaining functionality for enterprise-quality web applications (Must be able to demonstrate significant contributions to past projects)
- Expert Java coding and debugging skills
- Proficiency with Web technologies, such as Struts, JSP, JavaScript and Ajax
- Experience and interest in Web UI development
- Flex experience a plus
- Good programming practices with solid object-oriented development experience
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills (Must be able to analyze and suggest improvements to existing code and designs)
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating environments
- Familiarity with automated build and test tools and methods

Required Education:
