Senior Java J2EE Developer- Fixed Income CDS Group – Based in New York City, USA recruitment

The client is world  delivers a comprehensive set of products and services designed to meet the needs of the front, middle and back offices at some of the largest and most well-known institutions around the world.

The Senior Java JEE Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing Java/JEE-based financial software solutions including EJB based business logic and data access components. The Senior Java JEE Developer will be capable of proposing and documenting software design, analyzing requirements, and presenting implementation options through the use of design diagrams and wireframes. The Senior Java JEE Developer will be responsible for hands-on development and promoting best practices for both object-oriented design and development.

The senior Java JEE developer will work on implemting UI, database and business logic as specified by the business users. The Senior Java JEE developer  will work with multiple stakeholders. senior Java JEE developer will review design decisions for extensibility, testability, and maintainability. He or she will be required to design and develop reliable components that are well tested.  He or she will be required to properly document work in accordance with the standards of the team.

The required skills for the Senior Java J2EE Developer- New York, USA

•            Object-oriented design experience

•             Strong Java Development experience

•             2+ years of development experience with EJB3, Hibernate and Oracle.

•             Proficiency in Oracle relational database use.

•             Strong experience with design-for-testability and unit-testing.

•             Proficiency with software configuration management tools, specifically Subversion

•             Understanding and dedication to software development “best practices”
