Looking for a sea change? Excellent opportunity in Geelong! My client is a large Java end-user with an Australian wide presence hugely exciting plans for 2012 beyond. With IT becoming increasingly important to my client as they look to gain maintain a competitive edge, the internal investment in their IT team technology in growing at a rapid rate. Because of this they are now looking for a big hitting Senior Java Developer to join their team.

Essential Attributes for the role are:

-5+ years of extensive Java/J2EE Spring application Experience
-Experience in web development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP and XML
-Experience with database and server technologies (SQL, MySQL, Apache, Tomcat)
-Strong understanding of enterprise-level Content Management Systems (CMS) and ecommerce platforms
-Strong stakeholder management/engagement skills ability to communicate within all levels of a business
-Proven ability to work with infrastructure teams and third party service providers

Desired but not essential skills include:
-Experience with Hybris Multichannel Suite
-Organisation, presentiation and documentation skills
-Any Websphere experience
-Project Management experience
