Senior Java/J2EE Build Manager w/ Portal experience – Global Risk Technology recruitment
Premier Global Trading Firm is seeking a Java/J2EE Build Manager w/ Portal experience who will be responsible for multiple Risk Technology applications, OO design as well as leading the development activities across a global team of Java/Flex developers. These systems provide support and touch all asset classes traded by the firm.
Candidates will work directly with Business Stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions that will have a profound impact on the FIRM’S P L. Candidates must have extensive full SDLC experience as well as current/prior Portal and Capital Markets experience. Domain expertise surrounding Risk is highly desired.
This is a FULLTIME, VP Level role located in New York City.
Required Skills:
- 5-10 years of experience with Java/J2EE preferably Weblogic or Websphere technologies
- Experience with web application development using J2EE (JDBC, JMS, JSP), and Java Script, FLEX
- Experience leading development teams (both local and non-local) of various levels of experience
- Strong Object Oriented (OO) development experience
- Solid knowledge of RDBMS (ideally Oracle) including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, etc
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting experience
- Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills
- BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Math, Physics, etc
