SENIOR JOB EVALUATION OFFICER recruitment
The incumbent will administer the group's classification programme to support an efficient implementation of the compensation and Benefit policy. (S)he will motivate and retain staff, as well as determine appropriate salary and allowances levels for the staffs; through periodic surveys and classification of positions.
Under the supervision of the Division Manager of Compensation, Benefits Compliance Division, the incumbent will administer the Bank's job evaluation system and provide guidance, advice, and technical support to directors and managers on the application of job classification policies and procedures. (S)he will review and analyze requests for the grading of new positions and provide recommendations and advice to departments concerning the grades and related matters. Also (s)he will develop and provide grade recommendations, necessary supporting documentation and information.
Also, the candidate will provide technical support and supervise the maintenance of administrative control systems and undertake salary surveys for the GS Category (support staff). (S)he will carry out salary analysis/calculations based on salary scales of comparator organizations and recommend salary adjustments. The candidate will ensure maintenance of all information required for salary review and undertake special organizational studies. Finally,(s)he will ensure day-to-day organization management in SAP and supervise the Job Classification Assistants.
Who we are looking for
You hold a Master's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Public Sector Management, or related disciplines. You have completed at least five-years in compensation and job evaluation. Ideally, you have a certification in job evaluation. Your knowledge and experience in Organizational Effectiveness is solid. You have a strong client orientation and an ability to build and manage relationships at all levels.
You have demonstrated a capacity to work in a team-based, multicultural, a fast-paced, demanding professional environment. You are strong at dealing with multiple tasks and deadline, working independently and with minimal supervision.
Your analysis, planning and organizational skills are excellent. So are your communication and interpersonal skills. You are competent in the use of standard MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Access). And your knowledge of SAP would be an advantage. You communicate in English and/or French, and a working knowledge of the other language.
