KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of Senior Key Account Manager will focus on the development of new business as well as close deals with key decision makers ( Finance Directors, Tax Managers, Travel Managers, Purchasing Managers and Managing Directors) on sales opened by the telesales team. Your role will consist of the following duties and responsibilities:
- Make new business prospect cold calls in order to set up your own sales meetings
- Attend sales meetings with prospective new clients with aim to close the deal
- Negotiate fees and sales contracts
- Close deals and sign contracts with new customers
- Understand developments within the customers business and the strategic interests of the customer
- Build up extensive Product knowledge and knowledge of Competitors
- Meet quarterly and annual personal financial (revenue) targets
- Deal with cross- territory sales projects (European Global agreements)
- Identify, win and close new business contracts with large multinational companies
- Develop and manage sales pipeline of prospective customers
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Fluency in English. Fluency in any 2nd European language is an advantage but not essential
- Graduate calibre preferred, but not essential
- Field based Business Development / Key Account sales experience
- Proven experience of selling consulting services to blue chip organisations
- Proven and demonstrable record of winning and closing new business sales
- Experience selling at senior level
- Excellent ability to develop key sales relationships with new clients
- Able to manage full sales cycle, from initial cold call, negotiation to contract closure
- Proven and demonstrable record of identifying, winning and closing new business sales deals
SALARY
On offer is a basic salary of £30,000 - £45,000 with OTE in year 1 of approx. £70,000 . An OTE of £100,000+ is realistic after 2-3 years.
