Senior / Lead User Interface Developer (interactive data visualization for SaaS app)

Small (less than 10) well-funded startup that has quickly garnered a number of highly impressive 'brand name' customers, is seeking a talented Senior User Interface Developer with JavaScript expertise. You will be the sole developer that will be focused on the front-end development of a highly powerful software on-demand application that gives customers the ability to analyze billions of pieces of relevant data, interpret and visually interact with this data for a number of actionable results. Some very interesting and cool companies using this product for very different reasons -- seriously super cool stuff!

Drive front-end development and the creation of the company's core user interface infrastructure -- innovate by creating and incorporating JS plug-ins and libraries that will improve the end user's all around experience.

Working directly with the key decision maker who is leading the software development team and have placed several key members on the engineering and research team.

- Computer Science degree (or similar with software programming focus)
- User Interface development expertise with heavy JavaScript and the jQuery library (preferred, but not a must). Experience with graphing and data visualization is desired, but not required -- tools and libraries such as highcharts, infovis, protovis, style chart, timeplot, flot, js charts, jquery visualize plugin and the like -- again, experience with specific tools and libraries is not required, but still must have heavy duty JavaScript experience combined with the aptitude and interest for learning what you need to learn in short order.
- experience with HMTL5 and CSS3 is also a nice to have, not a must.

Location: Boston, MA
Compensation: Salary to commensurate, and will include stock options and full benefits. All highly competitive and negotiable.
