Senior Lease/Financial Analyst Job in Columbus 43201, Ohio Us

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role on the Operational Finance team by summarizing and validating critical lease data and providing financial analysis to influence decisions impacting our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical thinking capabilities and great communication skills. The candidate also is enthusiastic; self motivated, and demonstrates the ability to drive results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Abstract (summarize) real estate leases to ensure conformity with negotiated deal terms and compliance with business tolerances
Review leases in detail and provide action items to Legal for joint resolution
Perform ad-hoc financial analyses as it relates to our real estate portfolio
Track critical lease dates and provide reporting to our cross-functional partners
Prepare reports to support public disclosures
Lend expertise to address lease related questions from our cross functional partners
Perform system audits to ensure data integrity
Research potential co-tenancy violations which could result in savings to the bottom line
Exercise absolute adherence to data integrity and internal controls
Share best practices across the department
Participate in special projects

MUST POSSESS THE ABILITY TO:
Develop a clear understanding of lease processes and business issues
Establish productive relationships with cross functional partners
Perform business and financial analyses
Work independently and on group projects
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously

3-5 years of relevant experience
3+ years lease abstract experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, tenacious attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multi-tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Enthusiastic, high energy, self-motivated
Advanced with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proficient with JDE and Crystal, a plus
Bachelor's Degree required and post-bachelor's paralegal certification a plus.
