Senior Leasing Professional

Grupo Zócalo, a commercial/retail firm specializing in every growing Hispanic area in the United States, is looking for a Real Estate leasing professional. Grupo Zócalo is a well managed partnership with great growth potential throughout the United States, thus giving professionals an opportunity at a sector that is still in its infancy.  The principals are well versed in Real Estate ownership and re-positioning Hispanic-oriented assets. Position is available in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area.

Responsibilities:

·         Maintain an accurate, in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the assigned properties; to include all vacancies, small tenancy, major tenants and lease expirations.

·         Articulate and promote the real and potential benefits of Hispanic-oriented assets.

·         Understand and provide strong and accurate representations as it relates to the Hispanic demographics and psychographics

·         Effectively and continuously articulate the features and benefits of the properties to brokers and prospects directly, through meetings, presentations, real estate organizations, mailings etc.

·         Prepare proposals, offers to lease, and other documents relating to incoming or existing tenancies.

·         Meet with tenants on a regular basis to promote leasing relations.

·         Ability to enunciate clear feedback from the marketplace to the ownership.

·         Process the necessary documentation to effectuate the efficient implementation of the lease contract.

·         Provide a strong representation of the tenant’s need to all parties within the organization.

Requirements:

·         Candidate must be well educated with a bachelor’s degree.

·         Experience in leasing space within the retail environment with a unique atmosphere.

·         Be creative in the presentation of statistical information and respond to Tenant’s concerns

·         Provide concise marketing letters and other documentation to prospective tenants.

·         Ability to pre-qualify prospective tenants, perceive and solve problems; be creative.

·         Must be highly motivated self-starter with the ability to successfully maneuver within both corporate and entrepreneurial environments.

·         Competent and persuasive presentation and negotiation skills.

·         Strong organizational and computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office products, e-mail and general computer knowledge.

·         Bilingual in Spanish and English.
